Under "BENEFITS" tab on the Flametree site, you'll also see a list of the at least 117 health conditions where clinical trials have shown yoga to help. Flametree also has also a weight loss program, based around mindful eating. Accredited Senior Teacher These classes are also taught by an independently certified Senior Yoga Teacher, Christine Lalor, with 25 years of yoga teaching experience. Christine is also an accredited Yoga Therapist. Chris also has other certified Yoga Teachers who work with you, including another very experienced teacher, Belinda Hoult. Direct links to these deals are on the Home Page of our site (FLAMETREEyogaSTUDIO.com.au). Many new beginner students also start via a quick, 2-class Beginner Introduction (or mini-course). But you can, at any time, also just join the ongoing Beginner level classes. Yoga passes can be used interchangeably at all locations, and online. Some students also start with a private class, and then move to our group classes. NDIS includes yoga Private or group yoga can be included in NDIS plans. Props for yoga at home can also be funded by the NDIS. At Flametree in-studio classes, all yoga props are supplied. HarbourHelp

Support Work, Innovative Community Participation, Education Support +10 more

From the provider: HarbourHelp is a family-owned NDIS support worker/mentoring provider based in Adelaide, built on one simple belief: quality support starts with genuine relationships. We know that every person is different, which is why we take the time to get to know our participants and their families. We believe the best outcomes come from trust, consistency, and understanding, not a one-size-fits-all approach. Our focus is on providing personalised support that helps people build confidence, develop independence, and work towards meaningful goals. While we support participants of all ages, we have a particular passion for working with younger people by providing positive, reliable support workers and mentors who encourage growth both in everyday life and into the future. Rather than simply helping people complete tasks, we work alongside our participants to develop skills, create opportunities, and achieve goals that matter to them. Whether that's becoming more independent at home, building confidence in the community, succeeding at school or work, improving health and wellbeing, or developing social connections, we're there every step of the way. One of the things that makes HarbourHelp different is our team. Many of our support workers have backgrounds in allied health or are currently studying allied health professions, allowing them to approach support with a strong understanding of health, rehabilitation, and person-centred care. This means we don't just provide support - we understand the "why" behind it and work to reinforce the goals being set by the wider care team. We also believe that the best support happens when everyone is working together. That's why we collaborate closely with participants, families, Support Coordinators, and Allied Health professionals to ensure support is consistent, goal-focused, and tailored to each individual's needs. At HarbourHelp, we place a strong emphasis on matching participants with the right support worker. We understand that compatibility is just as important as experience, and we carefully consider personalities, interests, communication styles, and goals to create genuine connections that last. Our goal is simple: to provide support that makes a real difference. We want every participant to feel valued, heard, and empowered to live the life they choose, with a team that genuinely cares about their journey. HarbourHelp isn't just about providing support hours - it's about building relationships, creating opportunities, and helping people achieve outcomes they can be proud of.

From the provider: WHERE AGE IS NO BARRIER TO EXERCISE Third Age Fitness has the philosophy that age is no barrier to exercise. Too often we see older adults underestimated, either by themselves or by others around them, but we believe that with a little encouragement, and in the right environment, older adults can build and maintain their physical and mental well being to a level that will see them enjoy and participate in life to the fullest. Carol and Trudi have been working with older adults in the fitness industry for more than 50 years combined. We love working with older adults, and have worked with thousands of participants to help them and encourage them to use exercise as a way to build strength, confidence, and vitality, which is all so important to maintain as we age. We have a raft of fitness and health qualifications between us, and are constantly learning new techniques and ways to keep participants engaged and exercising. We are both qualified in Training & Assessment, and our workshop and online courses have been accredited by Physical Activity Australia and Fitness Australia.

Costs vary based on the type of support, time of service (standard hours, evenings, weekends), worker qualifications, and travel requirements. Plan-managed and self-managed participants have greater flexibility in choosing providers and negotiating rates.

What's the difference between registered and unregistered NDIS providers?

NDIS registered providers have met quality and safety standards set by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission. Agency-managed participants must use registered providers. Yes, you have the right to change providers at any time. Review your service agreement for notice periods and discuss any concerns with your provider first. If you're unhappy with the service, you can end the agreement and find a new provider that better meets your needs.

How do I find Sport and Fitness providers who speak my language?

Specialist providers may have additional training in specific disability types. Always ask providers about their qualifications and experience.
