Thank You Care

Support Work

From the provider: Care Funding Maximized - It is very surprising that many people in care needs settle for the less and do not know they are actually entitled to more funding. What they need is a clinical guidance. - We provide a free care funding optimization assessment, which is to check whether you receive the potentially maximized government funding depending on your clinical conditions and care needs. - We also offer the same assessment as required and periodically. Competitive Hourly Rate - We do not have any hidden overhead cost to pay the corporate or franchisor. - What you pay for your direct care go straight to your support worker 100%. - Our package management fee, case management fee, and hourly rate for direct care are very competitive and transparent. Clinically Advanced - We do not outsource clinical cares to the third party like many other providers. - We have advanced knowledge and skills to deliver complex clinical cares ourselves. - The clinical cares we directly provide currently: * Enteral Feeding * Tracheostomy management * Urinary Catheter * Ventilation Management * Subcutaneous injections * Complex Wound Management * Severe Dysphagia * Diabetes Management * Stoma Care * Epilepsy Care * Palliative Care and so on. - Senior RN on call for your urgent care and clinical needs. Over the phone consultation or physical visit would be offered. Culturally Matching - We aim to match our support workers to your culture, language, and other background. - The cultures, other than Australian, we support currently: * Korean * Chinese * Taiwanese * Japanese * Vietnamese * Philippine * Thai * Indonesian and so on

The Gaming Den

Social Activities

From the provider: Phone: [phone hidden] | Email: Enquiries@thegamingden.com.au | Website: thegamingden.com.au Open 9am-6pm Mon-Fri & 9am-1pm Sat The Gaming Den is a safe and supportive gaming environment for people with autism, located in Ipswich, Queensland Our business started in mid 2020, as we were struggling to get my son, who was in his early 20s with ASD and ADHD, out of the house or to show interest in many things. He had the idea to find a place where he could play computer games with others who shared his interests. After looking around we were unable to find a place where he would feel safe, but with encouragement from his psychologist and occupational therapist we started The Gaming Den together. We have worked hard to create a space where my son and others on the Autism spectrum are able to feel safe and comfortable. We are equipped with 10 computers containing over 300 games, two racing machines, and an immersive VR setup. There are also board games available. We mainly focus on single-player and local multiplayer games to avoid the sometimes difficult to manage online communities. Our games include Minecraft, Skyrim, Age of Empires, Mass Effect, the Witcher series, Baldur’s Gate 3, the Borderlands series and more. Our doors are open for all ages, though under 16s require a support worker or guardian to stay with them while they game, over 16 years welcome to come independently or with their support worker. We do recommend anyone of any age bring along a support worker or someone comfortable initially to help with the new space and new faces. There is a fridge and microwave for storing and heating meals, a table to eat at, a designated quiet area, and plenty of free on-site parking. For the last 3 years we have been servicing the Ipswich and Brisbane area, with NDIS participants being the target audience. We are not NDIS registered and ask that our clients are plan managed or self managed. We offer the first session for free to see if we are a good fit with no pressure to return afterwards if it doesn’t suit.

Cultural & Language Fit

Queensland's diverse community means you can find providers who speak your language and understand your cultural background.

Availability & Flexibility

Ensure the provider can accommodate your preferred schedule, whether weekdays, weekends, or evenings.

NDIS Registration Status

NDIS registered providers meet quality and safety standards. Self-managed participants can also choose unregistered providers.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much do NDIS Services providers cost in Queensland?

NDIS Services rates in Queensland follow the NDIS Price Guide limits. Costs vary based on the type of support, time of service (standard hours, evenings, weekends), worker qualifications, and travel requirements. Plan-managed and self-managed participants have greater flexibility in choosing providers and negotiating rates.

What's the difference between registered and unregistered NDIS providers?

NDIS registered providers have met quality and safety standards set by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission. Agency-managed participants must use registered providers. Self-managed and plan-managed participants can choose either registered or unregistered providers, giving more flexibility in their choices.

Can I change my NDIS Services provider if it's not working out?

Yes, you have the right to change providers at any time. Review your service agreement for notice periods and discuss any concerns with your provider first. If you're unhappy with the service, you can end the agreement and find a new provider that better meets your needs.

How do I find NDIS Services providers who speak my language?

Use the Language filter at the top of this page to find providers offering support in your preferred language. Queensland has providers available in many languages including Mandarin, Cantonese, Arabic, Vietnamese, Greek, Italian, and more. You can also specify language requirements when contacting providers directly.

What qualifications should NDIS Services providers have?

All NDIS workers must have a valid NDIS Worker Screening Check. Many hold qualifications like Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, or relevant allied health degrees. Specialist providers may have additional training in specific disability types. Always ask providers about their qualifications and experience.
