Prevail Care

I am the nominated authority for a participant who has engaged services with Prevail. From my perspective they have been wonderful in listening to us when we first engaged the services and identified the most amazing support person for my sister. We could not think more highly of this particular support person. Thank you. The staff have been willing to assist in anyway they can and are lovely to deal with, but we do seem to have experienced some communication issues. As the sister of a person with an ABI and where executive function has been compromised, consistency and clear communication about shift attendance is critical in allaying any anxiety and concerns for her. For myself, improving response times to written Communication would allow me to feel more confident that matters have been acknowledged and are being addressed in a timely fashion.

The most amazing and supportive team. We get continuous contact and updates on support, with the team being extremely proactive in searching for and trying new ideas and supports. They are so active and thoughtful in their support for our son and us as parents. They have said and have proven to be there for us night and day. They have helped so much sharing the journey with us. They have changed our lives.

Our family have been with Prevail Car for a long time now and I can honestly say they are a company whom are there for the clients. Nothing is too hard for the staff at Prevail Care. They are passionate about providing top quality service and care. My Dad used Prevail Care for daily supports and he was reluctant at 1st as a 65yr old Man never needing help to needing around the clock care he was so appreciative of the staff and the lever of professionalism and genuine care was next level. Unfortunately my Dad passed away early this year but we still are clients with Prevail Care as my Daughter now uses there amazing Support Workers. I would recommend anyone looking for a company who really care about our needs and not money to give Prevail Care a call as you won’t find a better company out there who not only put us 1st but also look after their staff also. Responses are usually quick and needs are always met promptly.

I believe Prevail is working hard to accomodate my needs. Prevail management have spent some time getting the right fit in carers for me, which is crucial to my care experience. The primary carer they have selected is delightful and having her in my home for several hours a week is not a burden or something to be endured. She is ethical, kind, empathetic and genuine, and fundamentally understands that caring is about considering me and my needs. She understands that I have energetic and tired days and she accomodates these ebbs and flows. She happily undertakes the tasks I require assistance with even the mundane jobs, she is proactive in looking for ways to help and, best of all, she enters into my interests and activities in the spirit of fun and shared curiosity, which makes her a lovely person to spend time with. There have been some communication issues between Prevail management, carers, my EPA and myself when there have been changes to my schedule or carer's availability. I recognise this is bound to happen when there are lots of working parts to the care process and my sense is that Prevail is keen to tighten up these communication processes and to make sure that there is consistent knowledge across different carers about my particular needs.
