I offer Psychosocial Recovery Coaching, Support Coordination and Mental Health support work, depending on what suits your needs and your plan. I am able to help with: - Providing a listening ear to talk about your struggles when your mental health has taken a downturn - Helping you develop your goals for support and work towards them based on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) principles - Implement your NDIS plan and increasing your capacity to manage/direct your own supports - Feel more connected to your community (including the lived experience community if that interests you) - Explore alternative support options and maximise the value for money you receive from your supports - Change of Situation reports and liasing with your NDIS LAC if you need to make changes to your plan Qualifications As well as having a lived experience of mental illness and recovery myself as both a consumer and family member, I have: A First Class Honours degree in Psychology, Completed Intentional Peer Support Training (IPS), Completed Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training, Completed Motivational Interviewing Training , Completed online training in Psychosocial Recovery coaching, Support coordination and other useful NDIS modules, Completed NDIS Worker Orientation Module, completed an 8-week Acceptance and Commitment Therapy Course for Beginners with Dr Russ Harris, over 3 years experience as a mental health peer worker in subacute settings and over 6 years experience in independent mentoring and coaching both paid and voluntary.
