Working with Moonlight Care has truly opened my eyes to the disability sector. It has been incredibly inspiring to witness the genuine care, compassion, and dedication our staff and teams show to the participants every day. From the beginning, I have felt warmly welcomed and supported by the team, who have demonstrated just how rewarding and meaningful this sector can be. I’ve had a consistently positive experience working with Moonlight Care to support several people with very complex needs. What I value most is that they genuinely see the person behind the diagnosis first. They take the time to get to know each individual, what matters to them, and what helps them feel safe, settled and supported, then build practical, respectful supports that improve day-to-day quality of life. Moonlight has shown strong capability supporting people with complex behavioural and emotional presentations, communication needs, physical support needs and higher medical complexity, including people living with severe and persistent mental health challenges, acquired brain injury, autism, dementia, and intellectual disability (often with dual diagnosis). I also really appreciate their focus on compatibility within the home, including thoughtful matching of co-residents to support stability and positive shared living. I currently work with several clients living in Moonlight Care homes across Perth, and my overall experience has been very positive. Sinead, Moonlight Care's State Manger, is highly responsive and easy to collaborate with. She communicates clearly, follows through, and actively includes people’s support systems, building strong relationships with families, guardians and key stakeholders to keep everyone aligned and working toward the same goals. I also want to acknowledge the culturally safe way Sinead and her team has supported Aboriginal clients, taking a holistic view of wellbeing from an Aboriginal perspective, and recognising the importance of connection to family/kinship, culture, community and Country. I would highly recommend Moonlight Care as a provider that embraces complexity, values collaboration, and delivers genuinely person-centred support.

I work with several complex clients who are supported by Moonlight Care, and my overall experience has been very positive. The regional manager is exceptional—highly collaborative, responsive, and consistently willing to engage with clients who have complex presentations. Their commitment to working closely with stakeholders has made a significant difference in achieving tailored, client‑centred outcomes. Across the broader team, communication is generally strong and staff are approachable when issues arise. Although staffing pressures are a common industry issue, Moonlight Care remains transparent and genuinely puts in effort to find solutions and maintain stability for clients. Overall, they are a team that embraces complexity, values collaboration, and strives to deliver the best support possible—even in a challenging workforce environment.

As a Team Leader who has come through ground operations as a support worker, I have a deep appreciation for what good support really looks like on the floor. I am proud to lead within a company that understands both the operational realities of disability support and the human side of the work. Having progressed through the ranks, I see firsthand that hard work and dedication are noticed, and that there is genuine opportunity to grow while still staying grounded in participant centred values.
