My name is Sarah Mawson. I am the Owner/Director of Mawcare+. I have 17 years' experience in the healthcare and disability fields. My husband Shaun and I started MawCare+ as we saw a need for a genuinely person centred SIL accommodation service, where participants are treated with dignity and respect and where the focus is on ability, rather than disability. Shaun has extensive experience in leadership and mentoring roles and was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis 16 years ago, giving him a personal insight of the challenges that living with a disability can bring.
We have a brand-new, purpose-built home in Grovedale, Victoria with the following features: Each bedroom has: It's own ensuite complete with shower, basin and toilet, Comfortable queen sized bed, Wall mounted HD TV with access to Netflix and Disney+, Comes fully furnished with quality bed linen and plush towels, Participants are welcome to bring their own items to make their space their own, Close to Waurn Ponds Shopping Centre, Reading Cinema, Deakin University and Leisurelink Aquatic Centre.
