Live Free Support Services is a family-run disability support organisation based in Berserker, Rockhampton, Queensland, providing NDIS funded support to people living with disability across Rockhampton, Gracemere, Yeppoon and the surrounding Central Queensland region. Support workers assist with daily personal care such as bathing, dressing and grooming, household cleaning and other home tasks, meal preparation, and the development of daily living and life skills, with after-hours call-outs available on request.
The provider also delivers supported independent living, short term accommodation for respite breaks, and transport so participants can attend appointments and community events. Its Come Connect activities include a community theatre program with weekly rehearsals, a weekly music and movement session, and a monthly barbecue cooking program, with transport available to and from activities. The organisation focuses on people with acquired brain injury, autism, intellectual disability and sensory impairment, and its founder has worked in the disability sector for decades.
