Lifelinc is an NDIS registered disability support provider based in Toowoomba, Queensland, delivering supports to people with disability and to older people. Founded in 2017 by directors Andrew and Deanne Whyte, the organisation draws on four decades of combined experience in disability and aged care and is built on integrity, excellence, teamwork and collaboration, compassion, inclusion and trust. Lifelinc's vision is to support vulnerable people not only to reach their full potential but to thrive and become respected members of their community.
Lifelinc is an approved provider registered with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission across fourteen support categories, including assistance with daily personal activities, high intensity daily personal activities, assistance with travel and transport, household tasks, development of daily living and life skills, group and centre based activities, participation in community, social and civic activities, innovative community participation, assistance with life stage transitions, accommodation and tenancy assistance, assistance animals, supported independent living and specialist disability accommodation.
The provider currently has vacancies in its Supported Independent Living homes. Its day services program runs from the Toowoomba centre, with activities including art workshops, music and movement sessions, cooking classes, gardening, board games, gentle fitness and yoga, wellness workshops, community outings and social gatherings. Participants are supported to build friendships, learn new skills and take part in the life of their community. Lifelinc also offers respite and short term accommodation for participants and their families, and personalised assistance with self care, personal hygiene, dressing, grooming and meal preparation.
For older people, Lifelinc supports clients through the Commonwealth Home Support Program and Home Care Packages with in home respite, an evening tuck in service, personal care, social support, domestic assistance, home maintenance and gardening, and transport. Aged care services are currently delivered through brokerage arrangements while the provider's aged care registration application is finalised. The office is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
