About Life Skills Coaching Australia

Australian Capital Territory

We provide supports for NDIS recipients needing literacy and numeracy development that can be funded under the NDIS. Unlike tutors, our coaches meet NDIS funding criteria. Our Life Skills Coaching in Literacy and Numeracy can be claimed under the Capacity Building, Improved Learning budget allocation or the Scholl Leaver Education Supports budget. Our service provides the basic requirements for Life Skill Coaching and your Coach designs a specific program for your student that covers the additional needs to excel in their Maths and English at school or bring them up to job ready competence.

Our coaching plans provide support to develop maintain or increase skills for independence and community participation. We currently service the major cities and regional cities on the Eastern seaboard of Australia.

We use Life Skills Coaching Australia to provide literacy and Numeracy (English and Maths) coaching for our son who is autistic and suffers development delay. Since their skilled coach started we have seen a dramatic improvement in his abilities. Their advice was to focus on getting him competent to a level he would be able to find meaningful work when he completes school, a goal completely out of reach before we started

We searched for years for help for our daughter who just couldn't develop enough literacy and numeracy skills to keep up at school. As she transitioned to high school it become clear there would be an issue finding employment when shee completed school. After 12 months with her Coach her reading and maths improved out of site. We now expect she will be able to adequately complete employment apptitude tests and perhaps even qualify for a TAFE Certificate course. Lots of tutors told us they could help but only Life Skills Coaching had the understanding of how we could get the program funded under teh NDIS..
