At Latitude Production, my aim is to create a space where people can express themselves through music, and provide that outlet for creativity. e. ), and the use of music production programs on a computer, such as Ableton. Through a participant’s journey with Latitude, we will also go through the foundations of creating music, such as structuring a song. ’, where we can go through the avenues of what to do once the project is out there. I am more than happy to work with different learning styles, and adapt to what works best for each individual.
As far as my background goes, I have been working as a Disability Support Worker for 2 years, and I have completed my Cert IV in Youth Work. I have run music events in the past, and I have been producing music and DJing for the past 6 years. I produce music under the name ‘Bombada’, play in a band called ‘DJ Centipede and the Earthworms’, and I have also recently started playing in a duo ‘Middle Earth’. I am fortunate enough to have a full studio set up in my house, and I want to be able to use this to help those who want to learn, but don’t know where to start.
The main purpose of Latitude Production is to provide a service where people can come into my studio and freely express themselves. I want to be there as a mentor with music, but also build a relationship with these individuals, and still support them in all aspects of life if need.
