GAP Support is a Western Australian NDIS provider that supports people with disability to be included in the communities in which they live. It offers community participation support so that participants can take part in and enjoy social and recreation activities in the community, with the choice of what to do left to the participant. Its personal activities support assists with showering or bathing, dressing and grooming, while daily tasks and shared living support covers paying bills and hands-on assistance with household activities such as meal preparation, cleaning and working through new technology.
Life stage transition support assists people who need help leaving home, getting a first job or retiring from work. GAP Support works with clients, their families, LACs, Support Coordinators and Plan Managers, and tries to match support staff to the needs of people with disability based on age, gender, cultural requirements and other needs.
