Hi, I'm Merry (Meryem) — a qualified Early Childhood Teacher and the founder of Early Edge Support. For over 11 years, I've had the privilege of walking alongside young children and their families through some of the most important years of a child's life. Early Edge Support was born from a simple belief: every child deserves someone in their corner who truly sees them — and every family deserves support that feels warm, human and genuinely on their side.
We provide child-centred, strengths-based early intervention for children aged 0–9, across Melbourne's northern suburbs. Our approach is play-based, individualised and family-centred — because children learn best through play, and families are the heart of every child's journey. No clinical coldness. No one-size-fits-all plans. Just thoughtful, personal support that meets your child exactly where they are. How I can support your child: Communication and language development Social skills and peer interaction Emotional regulation and confidence Positive behaviour and engagement Play, participation and sensory-based learning Fine and gross motor development Independence and everyday routines Early literacy, numeracy and school readiness Building functional life skills Support across home, kinder and community settings I work closely with families, educators and other professionals so that support feels consistent wherever your child learns and grows — whether that's at home, at kinder, or out in the community.
Where we work: Early Edge Support provides flexible services across childcare and early learning centres, community settings and other suitable environments. Our support is tailored to the individual needs of each child and family, serving Melbourne’s northern suburbs including Kalkallo, Craigieburn, Mickleham, Broadmeadows, Roxburgh Park, Meadow Heights, Coolaroo, Campbellfield, Greenvale and surrounding areas. Why families choose Early Edge Support: Over 11 years of hands-on experience with young children Qualified — Bachelor of Early Childhood (Teaching) + Diploma in Early Childhood Education VIT-registered, with a current Working With Children Check and First Aid NDIS-friendly — supporting self-managed and plan-managed families Genuine warmth, patience and a real relationship with every child You don't need a diagnosis or a referral to reach out.
Many families come to me simply because they've noticed something and would like a friendly, experienced professional to talk it through with. There's no pressure and no judgement — just a conversation. If you'd like to chat about your child, I'd love to hear from you. I offer a free, no-obligation 15-minute call — no forms, just a genuine conversation about how I might be able to help your family take the next step. Because every step forward matters.
