Doable Australia provides disability support on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, assisting people living with a disability in all areas and activities of daily life. Its services include supported independent living and specialist disability accommodation developed with SDA partners, with help through the home finding process and matching participants with housemates. Doable supports people to build skills and confidence for independence, offers career guidance with employment pathways, work experience and skill-building opportunities, and helps participants take part in community life through local events, excursions, social groups and the Doable Op Shop.
It also supports participants' voices through social advocacy groups such as True Colours, and runs disability awareness seminars for schools and organisations. Doable has supported people on the Peninsula since 1972.
