Compassionate Community Care is a Cairns-based NDIS provider working across Far North Queensland. It delivers Supported Independent Living, Short Term Accommodation, community access and complex high intensity supports in Cairns, the southern corridor and Innisfail, with Support Coordination offered to participants anywhere in Queensland. Support is rostered from drop-in visits through to 24 hours with active night support, and Registered Nurses, including mental health and forensic nurses, provide clinical oversight of high intensity work.
The team includes First Nations workers who are matched to participants when families prefer it, and group programmes run weekly, monthly and yearly. The provider also assists with personal activities, household tasks, life skills, transport and behaviour support.
