Bridging Engaged Communities, (BEC), is for people who are being plan-managed or are self-managed under NDIS funding. BEC has worked with numerous families as a youth worker and has extensive experience working with people with disabilities and / or mental health, often presenting with complex and multiple needs. BEC has over 25 years in the Disability sector, having worked with state government, for over 14 years and a further 12 years within the Disability employment sector prior.
BEC is a specific support service that aims to focus on working with youth with disabilities, (however not limited to), within the NDIS framework. BEC has an extensive work history within the Disability Youth and Families sector, and has completed a wide range of training including an Advanced Diploma Disability, a Professional Certificate in Adolescent counselling, Youth Mental Health First Aid, Mediation and Motivational training and has extensive Trauma based training.
BEC has a current Working With Children and Police Check. BEC also has Public Liability and Professional Indemnity. BEC is an accredited member of ACWA Promote Growth is the value that Bridging Engaged Communities, is founded on.
