Bharosa Community Services is here to help! As an NDIS Provider, we offer a range of Daily Personal Activities support services to help participants achieve their personal goals and live as independently as possible. The specific tasks will vary depending on the needs and goals of each participant. Personal hygiene: Assistance with washing, bathing, and showering, as well as grooming tasks such as brushing teeth, hair, and nails. Dressing: Assistance with selecting appropriate clothing and getting dressed, including help with buttons, zippers, and other fastenings.
Toileting: Assistance with using the toilet, including help with cleaning and changing incontinence products. Mobility: Assistance with getting in and out of bed, moving around the home, and using mobility aids such as crutches, walkers, or wheelchairs. Feeding: Assistance with preparing and serving meals and feeding and hydration support for those who need it. Medication management : Assistance with taking prescribed medication at the appropriate times, including assistance with reading medication labels and opening containers.
Skin-care: Assistance with managing skin integrity and preventing pressure injuries, including turning and repositioning as needed. Emotional support: Providing emotional support and encouragement, as well as companionship and socialization to reduce feelings of isolation or loneliness. Documentation: Staff document ongoing care and support of Participants. Assisted Personal Activities – High Intensity Bharosa Community Services has a team of clinical Nurses who look after the conditions such as intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, severe mental health issues, acquired brain injury, complex medical needs, and rare genetic conditions.

Complex medication management: Assistance with complex medication regimes, including injections, inhalers, and other forms of medication administration.
Behaviour support: Assistance with managing challenging behaviours, including the development and implementation of behaviour support plans. Continence management: Assistance with the management of incontinence, including catheterization, bowel care, and other forms of continence support. Dysphagia management: Assistance with managing difficulties with swallowing, including the provision of modified diets and feeding techniques. Skin care and wound management: Assistance with managing skin integrity and wound care, including dressing changes and other forms of wound management.
Ventilation support: Assistance with the management of mechanical ventilation for those with respiratory conditions. Community Nursing Care: We offer a range of community nursing services to our participants in their home or in the community setting: Medication management: Our nursing team can assist with managing medication regimes, including medication administration, monitoring and review. Wound care : We provide specialized wound care services to individuals with complex health needs, including assessment, management, and ongoing monitoring.
Continence management: Our nursing team can provide support with continence management, including assessment, planning, and implementation of appropriate management strategies. Chronic disease management: We offer support services to individuals with chronic diseases, including monitoring, education, and management strategies. Palliative care: Our nursing team provides compassionate end-of-life care and support to individuals and their families, including symptom management, pain relief, and emotional support.
Household Task Cleaning: Our support workers can help with general cleaning tasks, such as vacuuming, dusting, and mopping, as well as deep cleaning tasks like cleaning ovens, refrigerators, and bathrooms. Laundry: We can assist with washing and drying clothes, ironing, and folding laundry. Meal preparation: Our support workers can assist with meal planning and preparation, including grocery shopping, meal prep, and cooking. Shopping: We can assist with grocery shopping and other errands, such as picking up prescriptions or paying bills.
Home maintenance: Our support workers can help with basic home maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs, replacing batteries, and performing minor repairs. Assist in Travel/Transport: Transport to appointments: We can provide transport to medical appointments, therapy appointments, or other appointments as required. Airport transfers: We can provide transport to and from airports for travel purposes. Assistance with public transport: We can assist with using public transport, such as trains, buses, or trams. Respite Support Respite support is available as we collaboratively work with co-providers so that we won't disappoint our participants.
