Aurora Behaviour Support provides Positive Behaviour Support to people with disability of all ages, including people with mental health concerns or a trauma background, across New South Wales and Queensland. Clinicians work from offices in Bathurst, Dubbo, the Gold Coast and the Northern Rivers, visiting people at home, at school, in the community or online. Each piece of work starts with a functional behaviour assessment, which shapes a positive behaviour support plan and strategies that reduce and eliminate restrictive practices. The team also runs compatibility assessments for people moving into shared accommodation and trains families and carers in the same approaches.
