Active Ability

In my many years of experience working within the Disability sector, it can be rare to come across providers that stand out and really make a difference. Active Ability have been outstanding in providing person-centered services whilst maintaining open lines of communication with all stake holders involved. They have been a pleasure to deal with behind the scenes, and have been a delight to witness their work ethic and results. I highly recommend Active Ability to anyone looking for Allied Health Services that are NDIS Registered

Frequent visits are beneficial for our residents and the programs were easy to follow. In all the service has been very good. If possible, more frequent visits would be great.

I receive support through a physiologist at Active Ability and they're absolutely excellent. They are very friendly, reliable, and prompt. They assist with all the exercises that I need to know to help with my mobility.

Active ability provide great staff who understand my disability and the best exercises for me. I had a rotator cuff issues with my shoulder, and I was surprised how quickly the sessions improved my health and mobility. The diverse exercise plan has kept things interesting and has adjusted as my strength has improved. Thanks Active Ability!

I have been using the exercise physiology & dietetic services from Active Ability for the last 3 years and I am very happy with the ongoing progress I've been making. My health, strength, flexibility and my emotional well being have all benefited from my regular weekly sessions with Active Ability. They are NDIS Registered Providers so it made it very easy to have the funds allocated from my NDIS plan to fund my services with Active Ability.

My disabled wife and I engaged a dietitian from Active Ability earlier this year. Primarily to review my partner’s PEG nutritional requirements. We found the dietitian to be both polite and professional in their dealings with my wife, as well as being most thorough in providing the requested report and rationale. We could not have been happier and, based upon this experience, would be happy to recommend Active Ability for dealing with clients with disabilities.

Active Ability was very friendly, easy to talk to and understandable when explaining the exercises. I believe the results depend on my commitment to do the exercises regularly. I thought Active Ability was very professional and these exercises will make a difference to my active ability.

I am so impressed with Active Ability. They have gone above and beyond to make sure that our needs are met. As a carer for my sister who is intellectually disabled I am impressed with the service they provide. There are no travel costs. The set up was effortless and very easy with them being very efficient and timely with every request we had. Ever since using Active Ability's services, my sister's outlook on life has changed for the better. She always looks forward to her weekly sessions with the friendly staff. The staff are reliable and punctual and best of all they come to you. They are positively lovely, so much so that we hired one to come away to Bali on holidays with us to look after my sister. Even when her 8 hour shift was up, she would stay and help out (Priceless). Active Ability was also a godsend in helping us with applying for the NDIS. their knowledge and experience was unparalleled. The care and genuine heart felt concern that every member of management & staff at Active Ability have shown is incomparable. Even though their company has grown and they have expanded the services they provide the service and care has not changed, I couldn't recommend Active Ability enough.

My personal experience with the team at Active Ability is fantastic! The support and hard work we have put in together over the last 10 months is amazing. I have Progressive MS, very aggressive form of Multiple Sclerosis. . I’m a lot better off now than I was 10 months ago, mobility wise. My personalised fitness plan is working very well for me and keeping me positive at the same time. My training has given me a lot more strength and confidence, i’m well looked after. I look forward to my weekly sessions. I hope this helps you when trying to make a very important decision for yourself or a loved one. It is so important to maintain your strength, just keep moving. Since beginning with Active Ability in January, I have been able to increase my mobility, strength and flexibility. I have seen my exercise physiologist at least once a week, and have been completing the home exercises constantly. She understands and knows exactly where to target the affected areas. Due to my Multiple Sclerosis, I have a lot of stiffness, pain and swelling, but through the exercises and stretches, I have noticed these symptoms have reduced. I highly recommend Active Ability; very professional and listens to my needs!

As a support coordinator, it is my job to link customers to the right services to reach their potential life goals. I managed to link a a few customers to active ability and have also created a great network relationship with the staff at active ability. They will always communicate with me in regards to any supports and further information for my customers, they provide a great services ans i am grateful to be working with active ability in order to fulfill my customers goals and support needs.
