Our central goals are to create an environment that is conducive to both relaxation and recreation, to facilitate structured, skill-based development. We take a holistic approach to activity structure which gives us the flexibility to appeal and satisfy participants with varying levels of cognitive capacity, physical aptitude and sensory profiles. Activities provided as part of our program are designed to help facilitate skill development, build confidence and provide sensory experiences. When planning the activities we take into account individual goals, developmental needs and interests to ensure the most is achieved out of our program.

We provide services for people living with a range of disabilities, and are always focused on improving how we perform and expanding our ability to deliver more. We supply support to people through weekday programs which implement opportunities for social inclusion, community access and skill development. Our programs are designed to support and challenge our participants in a safe environment, through a range of themed days, weekend recreational and adventure club programs, school holiday programs and personal holiday tours. Our Programs With greater flexibility under the NDIS, we will work with you to design a package of Xlent services that meet your needs and expectations, and works within your budget. Original Premium Program - This service provides the extras that you won’t get from other providers, plus a little more. Small Group and Individual programs, access to both Community and Centre-based activities, developmental assistance with self-care skills and a focus on providing learning experiences from an extensive list of activities, using structured lesson plans to promote greater success. School Holiday Programs - Our program is growing and we believe, better than ever! Xlent run an exciting program of activities for juniors and senior groups (including adults) during each school holiday period. Streamlined Program - For participants who prefer centre-based activities (and may be on a tight personal budget) we can develop short 5-hour programs with a skill development focus, through activities like cooking, personal grooming, art & craft, gardening and more. Don’t worry – you won’t just be sitting watching TV. Me and My Mate from Xlent - A personalised One on One service for you and your Xlent friend. “My mates from Xlent” are all from our fabulous core staff team, not contracted or agency staff. This service is provided in short blocks and will allow you to engage in activities you’re interested in but may need support to access. Me and My Mate from Xlent only runs on the weekend and is on a case by case basis, with an emphasis on helping people transition to our group based programs during the week. A Little Bit of Xlent - New 1.5-3 hour specialised mix of community access and centre-based activity programs. Themes include: monthly arts and crafts, green thumb gardening, cooking classes and much more… Our Xlent Benefits Tailored Programs - Our programs are tailored to each group, taking into consideration the participants support needs and abilities. NDIS Registered Provider - All participants are able to have Xlent supports funded in their NDIS Plan. Extended Service Hours - Our service hours are between 9:00am to 4:30pm - longer than any other service. Transport Services - We provide an optional pick up and drop off service, at a cost of $8.00 each way. Minimal Costs - All daily activities attract a low charge of $7.00 per day. Year Round Service - Our services run 47 weeks per year. Personalised Activities - Activities are developed from the participants personal interests and goals. Specialist Support - We implement positive behaviour support strategies to ensure the safety of our participants and staff. Life Skills - Our programs are designed to increase independent living skills and community access, supporting our participants. Outcome Focused - Our activities are designed to focus on participants NDIS goals, promoting a sense of achievement and wellbeing. Need Based Changes - As a participants needs and requirements change, we facilitate opportunities to move between groups. Success Club - We provide work skills training through business orientated programs. The X-Crew Our crew is affectionately known as the X-Crew, and we pride ourselves on being Dedicated, Professional, Supportive, Compassionate and Inspirational. The X-Crew all hold a minimum of a Certificate Ⅲ in Disability, Provide First Aid, and Manual Handling. Additional training can include Managing Actual and Potential Aggression (MAPA), Assist with Medication (including Midazolam when required), and Child Safe Environments. Our staff are trained in managing behaviours of concern, and we work closely with a range of specialists to implement support plans and provide the highest level of care possible for our participants.
